Firefighters Assist Allen Township with Early Morning Structure Fire
In the early hours of this morning, our fire department was dispatched to assist our neighbors in Allen Township with a fully involved structure fire. The call came in at approximately 2:50 a.m., and our crews quickly responded to provide mutual aid.
Upon arrival, the home was found to be fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters from multiple departments worked together to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. Despite the extensive damage, no injuries were reported, which is a testament to the quick actions of the occupants and emergency responders.
Crews remained on scene until shortly before 5:00 a.m. to ensure the fire was fully extinguished and all hotspots were addressed. Unfortunately, the home was declared a total loss.
This incident highlights the importance of having working smoke alarms in every home and practicing fire escape plans with your family. Early detection and preparation can save lives in emergencies like this.
