| Cadets pulled hose, and went through the fire maze!
Day 4: Cadets took another trip to the Whitehall Training Facility to learn how to do proper size ups, use tics to detect fire and got to use a handline to attack a fire! After lunch the cadets learned different tools for vehicle rescues including Spreaders, cribbing and struts!
Day 5: The Cadets got some hands on training from Northampton Regional EMS to do CPR and Stop the Bleed! The Cadets also got a presentation from Lehigh County 99 Forestry Task Force (Flametamers) on different tools for forestry fires and even got to deploy a fire shelter and create their own fire line!!
The Cadets are now moving to Graduation happening Saturday! We have seen huge improvements and we hope that they can use the skills they were tough to the real world! Congratulations Cadets!! |
